Punishment either way you go!

   Just recently congress, against the majority of the US citizens will, voted for and passed the health care bill. They won by 5 votes an extremely small number. Leading up the the vote Moveon.org  was threatening to punish the democrats who voted against it. They have raised 3 million dollars to back it up. Obviously they have not been paying attention lately. You see in the New Jersey  race the incumbent democratic Governor spent about 3 million and lost. The democrats also spent a lot of money on the races in VA and the republicans celebrated a sweep. Basically what they are finding out is that money does not always buy votes. What the republicans are finding out is that values win. In proverbs 13:24 it says " ²⁴He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes". Now if we love America we will not spare the rod. So if we have the votes they may have the money lets see who wins ;). FYI the whole house is up for election next year i believe! ;) lets do it!!!!!!

Playground Bullies.

Congress just passed a resolution for military spending but attached to that bill was ear-tag known as the hate crimes bill. They tried to pull a very old political trick by basically bullying the republicans into voting for it. If the republicans voted against the so called military funding bill then the Dems would say they did not support our troops. Luckily for us there are men of principle in the capitol city. the a group of 130 or so principled men voted against the bill. That is what is meant by standing up for your principles!!

a principled voters delima.

This year politically has been a hard year for us principled voters. As it comes to the end of the election cycle we have an ultimatum. On one hand we have the pro-choice, anti-gun candidate. On the other hand we have the so called conservative who is not completely pro-life but is pro- second amendment. If we vote for the conservative we might violate our strong pro-life stance. If we don't vote we can jeopardize every thing the real conservative is working for. So what are we supposed to do? If the conservatives lose then the socialist in power would think that the TEA parties were a joke. What are we to do? Could it be that we should sacrifice our values for a little good? Should we stand by our flag? I don't quite have an answer yet so I will get back to you guys with it. maybe we will find something in the comments?
